Lauren began her dance journey with the Cecchetti method before training at North Shore Dance Academy, studying RAD Classical Ballet, Contemporary, National Character, and Jazz. A high achiever from early on, she earned Distinction and Honours in her RAD exams and was an eight-time winner at the Sydney Eisteddfod, including the prestigious Robert and Elizabeth Albert Junior Ballet Scholarship.

She completed her Certificate in Ballet Teaching Studies in 2010 and holds Registered Teaching Status with the Royal Academy of Dance. Over the past 13 years, Lauren has mentored 23 trainee teachers and supervised over 30 others. In 2024, she was appointed academic tutor for RAD’s new Certificate in Dance Teaching Studies, where she leads the "Learning to Learn" module.

Lauren’s qualifications extend beyond dance. She holds degrees in Neuroscience, Law (First Class Honours), Health Law, and Exercise Physiology, alongside a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. She is also a recognised teacher of the Vaganova Ballet Conservatoire syllabus and holds a Licentiate Diploma with the Australian Institute of Classical Dance. Currently completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Dance Education with the RAD and University of Bath, she was awarded the Iris Truscott Memorial Scholarship for academic achievement and shortlisted for the 2024 International RAD Awards in Championing Equality, Inclusion, and Diversity.

Her students have gone on to major success — including Harrison Lee, now First Artist at The Royal Ballet after winning gold at the Prix de Lausanne, and Grace Carroll, promoted to Coryphée at The Australian Ballet. Lauren’s students have secured placements at top institutions such as The Australian Ballet School and The Royal Ballet School, with over 40 participating in the Australian Ballet’s Interstate Training Program.

Renowned for her holistic and inspiring approach, Lauren continues to mentor dancers toward their highest potential — both technically and artistically.
